1 story pitch:
A pirate hunts sirens because sirens hunt humans.
The siren captures the pirate to bring back as livestock.
The pirate has to find a way out of the siren city.
However, the siren and the pirate become friends and are torn between following old prejudices and forming their own opinions of the opposite species.
Eventually, the siren and the pirate decide to run away together.
Backup stories:
A girl works at a store that sells magical objects.
She steals an artifact from the store.
The artifact summons a demon.
To banish the demon she must figure out which deadly sin it represents.
She banishes the demon when she realizes the demon represented her greed.
2 rich teens are on vacation with their families in the desert.
One night they go driving and the car breaks down, stranding them in the middle of the desert with no way back.
They must find a way back to civilization while surviving.
They find a vehicle that can take only one person back (the carrying capacity is one).
One of the teens takes the vehicle in the middle of the night and leaves the other to die in the desert.
